The WINCH 10 is a compact, high-precision 10 kg DMX winch engineered for live entertainment, permanent installations, and public art projects. Equipped with 5 m (16.4 ft) of lift cable and integrated pass-through power and data, it offers a streamlined solution for suspended scenic, lighting, and media elements. An optional 100W, 24V, 8-universe Pixel Node provides onboard control for connected LED fixtures and illuminated objects, simplifying system design while expanding creative possibilities.

Designed for smooth, responsive motion control, the WINCH 10 delivers precise positioning across a broad range of movement speeds. When multiple units are synchronized through a DMX lighting console, designers can create dynamic kinetic displays, immersive visual experiences, and complex choreographed motion effects that bring spaces and performances to life.

WINCH 10 can be directly connected to lighting consoles via network DMX (ArtNet, sACN), enabling fast integration into live production environments.  It serves as a powerful core for medium sized lighting fixtures, dynamic props, and lifting backdrops.

WINCH 10 also features a host of protection features for safe operation of a single winch or a system of multiple winches working together.  LumiOS provides software for set-up and monitoring of multi-winch systems.

Some of our protection systems include:

    • Cable Slack Protection:  Auto stop when underload is detected
    • Cable Spooling Protection:  Auto stop when mis-spooling is detected
    • Cable Overload Protection:  Auto stop when load limit is exceeded
    • Teamwork Protection:  All-motor stop for one unit failure in multi-linked winch system
