WINCH 5L

The WINCH 5L is a 5kg hoist for live stage, permanent installation, and public art projects. It features 30m (98.4ft) of lift cable with pass-thru power, data, and a 100W 8-universe Pixel Node. The extended cable length should satisfy the vertical space requirements of most venues. Position can be indexed with slow to quick movement, and when used in multiples connected to a DMX lighting console, an endless range of kinetic visual effects are possible.

WINCH 5L can be directly connected to lighting consoles via network DMX (ArtNet, sACN), enabling fast integration into live production environments. It is ideally suited for lighter LED light balls, light tubes, floating props, dynamic decorations, and similar applications.

WINCH 5L also features a host of protection features for safe operation of a single winch or a system of multiple winches working together. LumiOS provides software for set-up and monitoring of multi-winch systems.

- Cable Slack Protection: Auto stop when underload is detected
- Cable Spooling Protection: Auto stop when mis-spooling is detected
- Cable Overload Protection: Auto stop when load limit is exceeded
- Teamwork Protection: All-motor stop for one unit failure in multi-linked winch system
